Taking all precautions and raising additional infrastructure in fight against Coronavirus, government to set up 150 bedded quarantine centres at two indoor complexes at stadiums here.
A team of senior doctors, administration and army this morning inspected the new indoor complexes at Maulana Azad Stadium and Indoor Complex Bhagwati Nagar.
"Likewise other parts of the Union Territory, the indoor complexes in Jammu are also being converted into quarantine centres," Javed Naseem Choudhary, Secretary, J&K Sports Council said.
He further said that , "on the directions of Advisor to LG, Farooq Khan, we have kep entire infrastructure at the disposal of respective district administrations and they will be using them as per their requirement."
At Maulana Azad Stadium, 80 bedded centre and at Bhagwati Nagar, 70 bedded centre would be set up, he stated.
Mr Choudhary added that, "all our indoor complexes at Billawar, Reasi, Rajouri, Poonch, Bandipora, Srinagar, are at government's disposal and they are converting them into quarantine centres as per their need."
